PharmAccess Foundation Nigeria has called on stakeholders in the health sector and the beneficiaries to support efforts aimed at boosting health services in the country.
The Country Director of PharmAccess, Njide Ndili, made the call while expressing the foundation’s support for this year’s edition of the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award.
The NHEA is organised annually by Global Health Project and Resources in collaboration with Anadach Group, USA, to recognise and celebrate innovative healthcare service providers in Nigeria.
A statement issued on Sunday on behalf of Global Health Project and Resources by its Director of Strategy, Marketing and Communication, Mr. Moses Braimah, quoted Ndili as saying that the foundation decided to support the NHEA by sponsoring PharmAccess Innovative Healthcare Service Provider of the Year category because of its commitment to boosting the health sector.
“This is our third consecutive year of partnership with NHEA but our second year as the sponsor of the innovative healthcare service provider award category. Our core objective is to promote innovation that improves access and efficiency in service delivery at scale, leveraging technology at an affordable cost without bias to your location, economic status or income level,” Ndili reportedly said.
SaferMom won the NHEA 2017 PharmAccess Innovative Healthcare Service Provider of the Year award.
